What happens after my job is posted?

Once you've submitted a job you will be notified by email, and providers who are interested in your job will start sending you messages and quotes through the site.

Once your job is submitted, Coach Hire Market will automatically send an email to Vehicle Providers asking them to view your job.

Don't forget you can easily edit your job description and other details at any time by selecting view jobs from menu and double clicking on the job and making any updates.


How do I cancel my job listing?

If you haven't found anyone suitable through the coach hire market site, you can cancel the job at any time by changing the status of the job to cancelled.

Please note that it is very important that you indicate who you have hired, if you have found someone through the site, by clicking the Hire button when they submit a quote.


Do you perform any background checks on Vehicle Providers prior to them joining Coach Hire Market?

Coach Hire Market is an online marketplace that brings together vehicle hire customers with Vehicle Operators (providers). We are not an agency and we don't personally endorse any particular vehicle provider. The accountability that we offer is our feedback system. Feedback is a major determining factor for Vehicle Providers getting work through Coach Hire Market, and they take it very seriously.

How can I be sure that the Vehicle Providers are qualified and insured?

Vehicle Providers will provide you with information about themselves and their business through their profile. Providers should also provide evidence and proof of any accreditations, membership, CRB checks and insurance.

Please note that you will need to verify any information provided by a Vehicle Provider prior to hiring.

Also please do bear in mind that, whereas formal qualifications can play a part in the hiring decision, other important factors such as Coach Hire Market feedback, references and years of experience should also be taken in to consideration when making your final decision.

How do I remove my job listing from the site?

You can cancel a job by updating the job in the status & feedback tab to "cancelled" for the job concerned.

A provider has asked me to work outside the site - is this allowed?

While we can't insist that people click the hire button to appoint a provider through the site, we certainly don't recommend it.

Certain providers may offer you a small discount against your invoice in order to avoid paying the Success Fee owed to Coach Hire Market. While this might sound like a good idea, please remember that you will be unable to leave feedback for the provider once the job has been completed. If your job goes wrong for any reason, you have lost the ability to hold the provider accountable for the work they have carried out and to tell other members of the CHM community about your experience with the provider.


I accidentally accepted a quote on the site, how do I reverse it?

Hiring a provider is a two step process to ensure that accidents don't happen. If you accidentally hire someone then you must cancel the job and repost.

If I post a job, am I obliged to choose any of the Providers on the site?

No certainly not - who you choose to hire is completely up to you. We are here to help, and we want to help you find the best Provider for your job. If you decide to cancel your job or hire a Provider through another source, you can simply remove your listing from the site by cancelling the job.

What is feedback?

Feedback is at the pretty much at the core of Coach Hire Market . Quite simply, feedback is an evaluation of the job carried for you. Other Job posters can then read previous feedback comments on each Provider's profile, before they choose to hire. More importantly, Job posters can also add to a Provider's reputation and bring accountability by posting feedback when the job is done.

How does the feedback system work?

Before you decide which Provider to hire, you can look at past feedback to check them out. After you hire someone for your vehicle job, you add to that feedback. This system rewards excellent service and punishes bad work. Your feedback closes the loop and give the next customer valuable up to date information about that Provider.

A Provider hired through Coach Hire Market has a strong incentive to do their absolute best because they are held accountable for any work done for you. It is for this reason that hiring someone through Coach Hire Market is safer.

It is therefore recommended that you do not engage anyone who suggests that you bypass the site. An honest Provider who intends to do good work will want your feedback.

At Coach Hire Market feedback may only be left by people who have actually hired the provider. We also work very hard to ensure that all feedback is genuine, which helps everyone using Coach Hire Market.


Can I edit my feedback once it's been posted?

No. Once feedback has been posted to the site, it cannot be edited or removed. This is to prevent fraudulent changes, to prevent feedback blackmail and to avoid any possible confusion and loss of confidence from other users who would see feedback comments change unexpectedly.

Work has not been carried out. Can I still leave feedback?
